St Fort resumes live Cattle Exports.  Lincoln Reds to Northern Ireland
Adding to the interest in our Lincoln Red Cattle from Northern Ireland, we have sold and exported St Fort Jumbo to Co Antrim in February 2008.
We sold and exported some females to N. Ireland in 2006/7.  This was

Exciting news for the St Fort Herd of Lincoln Red Cattle as cattle were exported for the first time for 19 years.   The Herd, established in 1960 last exported cattle to Argentina along with other LR Breeders in 1976 and 1981;  at that time the Argentinian Short Horn Society were looking to improve the size and growth rate of their short horns and required the Lincoln Reds characteristics to up grade their stock by using the Lincoln Reds on their Short Horn stock.

Equestrian News. 2008

The BHDTA awards St Fort with a National ( Level 2) Qualifying event, for the National Championships at Windsor.

Andrew Mylius reports that this event will be held on 10th and 11th May 2008 and will revive the famous name ( held at St Fort from 1989 to 2000) of The Scottish Open Carriage Driving Championships.  The Scottish Endurance Riding Club (SERC) will be holding an event at the same time at St Fort.    Work has already commenced on some of the Obstacles for the Championship in May.

 The Royal Air Force Alpine Ski team are being coached by Caspar Mylius where they are in training at Meribel for the Inter Services Alpine Ski Championships in early February 2008.
