Founded in 1994 with the purchase of a few heifers from herds such as Netherton, Eastfield, Hurdcott, Castle of Mey, Eastlands, Blelack and Rawburn, the herd is now nearing our target of around 90 pure bred Aberdeen Angus Cows.
* We aim to produce a natural type of Aberdeen Angus with the purpose of breeding stock
that will both finish and grade well.
* We aim to produce females that calve with ease and are milky with strong maternal
characteristics.
* We aim to produce a hardy animal that will winter out and utilise our natural resources.
* We use mostly home grown forage and run the cattle on our permanent grassland.
